4 pcs FAFNIR (now Timken) GPFTDS 1-1/4" Bearing Unit 2-Bolt Flange USA
Made by The Fafnir Bearing Co. in New Britain CT. Fafnir was acquired by Textron
in 1968, the Torrington Company in 1988, and finally by the Timken
Company in 1998. The Timken Company continues to market ball bearings
under the Fafnir brand.
This means these GPFTDS 1-1/4" unit could have been
produced anytime between the early 1900s and 1968, as the owner's manual does not mention Textron, Torrington or Timken at all and style of type seems to be from the early-mid 20th Century. Please view all the photos for yourself, so you can decide on your own, if purchasing as a collectible, rather than using them.

You get ALL 7 pieces as shown. There are 4 Bearing units and three pieces (marked S1103K3) that attach to them (one is missing). They do not appear to have been used (please see photos so you can judge for yourself whether they were used or not), but do have some surface oxidation which you may wish to clean off before using. These appear to be VINTAGE NEW Old stock, made before the Fafnir/Timken merger. Two of the pieces look like you will need to tap on them to get the hub centered. They have been stored in a workshop for DECADES, so they have a bit of grease and dust on them. We do have three of the ORIGINAL boxes and two sets of original owner's manual/instructions and will include that in your package. They are very worn and torn, but you might like as a collectible.
