Antique Remington Rand Typewriter Letter-Riter vintage early 1960's
This was last used in 2012 to type a letter out and it worked great then! We are selling it as is, as the machine is 61 years old. It has been sitting for 12 years untouched in a clean space. The keys are working very well and you could set a speed record on them if you are a fast typist! It is in EXCELLENT condition, but could use a good professional cleaning.
Of course you will need a new ribbon if you are going to be using this and not just displaying it. :-)
The serial number is in the last photo, that may help you identify the exact year of manufacture, as best as I can determine it is approximately 1963, which would make this 61 years old. It is a real beauty for that age.
I cleaned it up a bit, but did not want to mess around inside, lest I break something as I am not a typewriter mechanic. The photos show the exact condition, including any dust you may see.
We put a UPC code on this listing for cataloguing purposes, but of course back in 1963 they were not yet using UPC codes.
